Adventure & Water Sports

adventure & water sportsGoa has a coastline of 110 kms, which makes it one long beach. Goa is also blessed with wide, long rivers and scenic lakes. These assets make Goa an ideal location for water sports and like ducks to water, Goans use their coast and waterways for a huge array of watersports - surfing, snorkeling, jet skiing, para-sailing, water-skiing, windsurfing and much more.

The only qualification required to enjoy a splashy ride on a waterscooter or speedboat at Dona Paula or a leisurely sail on a boat on the picturesque Mayem lake, is unlimited enthusiasm. Other exciting water sports options include scuba diving off Grand Island or para-gliding at Arambol beach or Bogmalo beach. Most of the upmarket resorts also offer a range of water sports facilities.
