AICC: Government harrasing Cong workers

PANAJI: If Goa government does not allow the Navy to take possession of St George island, off Baina beach, then the state will have to be responsible for security of aircraft flying path above the island, Navy officials have told state government representatives.

PANAJI: While the Navy in Goa once again pressed for the acquisition of the islands off Vasco, justifying that these are under the 'flying path' of aircraft and are therefore of strategic importance, the state government is not inclined to honour the demand.
